I was looking at him the whole way; I didn’t really pay much attention to the road we were about to cross.

My heart started beating so fast. We froze for a couple of seconds while he was still holding me.

“Abaaiih mashkor,” I said as soon as I started thinking straight.

He turned me around and placed his hands on my shoulders, “deeeray balich!! Tara hnyy myanan mayoogfon!”

Back in the hotel..

“Khanirtaa7 bilghurfa al7een o 3ugub n6laa3 nt3asha shrayech?” Mit3eb asked.

“Ok,” I said. I was exhausted!!

I threw myself on my bed just as Mit3eb walked in and sat on my bed.

“Shfeech?” he asked.

“Ta3banaa I said,” I sat up straight next to him.

He looked at me, opened his mouth to say something and then closed it again.

We sat there in silence for a couple of minutes.

I faced him to see that his eyes were closed and his hands were crossed on his chest, obviously he wants to sleep.

I got up and decided to take a shower. After I finished I quickly changed and looked for something to do while Mit3eb wakes up.

I got out my laptop to watch some Friends episodes. As I pulled out the charger it slipped from my hand and fell hard on the floor making a loud THUD.

Mit3eb shot up, noma khafeeef eb shakil mo 6abee3y.

“Matshoofeny nayem?” Mit3eb said through gritted teeth. He had one eye open and his hand shielding his face from the light.

“Wee bilghala6,” I said, giggling.

I decided to watch an episode of Friends before talking to him.

After it finished, I got up and knocked on Mit3eb’s door.

No answer.

I opened the door to see him lying on his bed watching TV.

He ignored me and continued watching.
