Mit3eb ElGalb 7

Noura's POV:

We're back at the hotel, each one locked in their own room I hope he's happy. :)

Lazim ekabir el mawthoo3 o e3a9ib!!

My memory took me back a few years ago.

"Refathtaa min9ijichh!! Mat7amal a3eesh ma3a wa7d 3a9aby!" Dalal said.

"Haw laishh? Walla y3ny tabeen wa7id mayadry 3anich kilshay tabeena tsaweena mayimni3ich min shay?" I asked.

"Eeeeeee that would be perfect!!" Dalal said with a grin.

"Min9ijichh? Maayghar 3alaich may7asisich enna mihtam wala yis2al 3anich!!" I said.

"Ahh y3ny lazim ekoon 3a9aby 3ashan yihtam o ys2al?" Lulu asked.

"La bs 3a9abeeta tbayin enna uhwa mihtam! O ham 7ada yshawiig lama y3a9ib o tratheena b3daain," I said.

"9adgeeny Ahmad makan eshawig lama 3a9ab," Dalal said.

"Ana mo qa9dy el 3a9abeya el ma9kha nafs Ahmad y3ny bismila masawaitay shay, ana aq9id enna etha 9ar shay yiswa mathalan ghala6tay aw shay chthy," I said.

"I can argue with you forever bs 3umry mara7 aqtini3 eb fikritich," Dalal said.

"Kaifichh!!" I said.

She doesn't have to be convinced, it’s my life and it’s my husband I want him to be a certain way.

Ok ana madry laish Mit3eb 3a9ab elyoom, bs akeed fee sabab muqni3.

Wait, no! Wala shay ebarir elly sawa elyoom!

What was I thinking lama kint aby wa7id 3a9aby!!!

All I’m saying is that be careful what you wish for because you just might get it, seriously!!

Kil shay bil7ewar yin7aal!

Ok khal e3a9ib kaiifa bs 3al aqal khal a3aref esabab!!

Allahh kareem!!

I contemplated whether I should talk to him or let it go..

I knocked on Mit3eb’s door.

I can’t let it go!!

“Na3am?” I heard him shout from the other end of the door.

Mo min 9ija!!!

“Aby akalmik,” I said.

“Asmi3ich,” he said.

UGHH!!!

“Magdar akalmik chthyy efta7 el bab!!!” I said.

“Laish?” he asked.

“Waaay Mit3eb enta al7een laish m3a9eb???” I asked.

“Ya3ny matadreen laish?” he asked.

“LAA!!! Ya3ny lo adry chan ma sa2aalt!!” I said a little loudly.

Suddenly the door opens and I stumbled back.

He stood close to me and whispered through clenched teeth, “Hal 7arakat ma7ibha, etha ana kint ma3ach mo ta7greeny witkhaleeny ala7gich min mukan laih mukan.”

I stared at him with my mouth hanging open. My heartbeats accelerated by each passing second. I can feel his breath brushing through my cheeks, that’s how close he stood.

Suddenly I felt hot tears stream down my cheeks; I swear I wasn’t planning to cry!

Mit3eb’s POV:

“A-asfa makint aqsid akhaleek til7agna,” she whispered.

I just stared at her.

“Yimkin shta6ait ma3a elrayal zyada 3an elizoom,” she said still crying.

She took a step back and turned around.

“La7tha,” I heard myself say.

Ksarat kha6ry..

Walla l3abat’ha 9aa7!!

“Khalas bas lat3edeenha mara thanya..” I said.

“Enshallah,” she whispered, her head was still lowered.

“Ya3ny.. bas ya3ny mala da3y tabcheen..” I said.

“Ta3awithay min blees..” I whispered while patting her lightly on the shoulder.

She flinched when I touched her so I quickly removed my hand.

Noura’s POV:

Ok 3al aqal 7as shwaya lama bechait!!!

Ana mo no3y abchy 3ala kil shay walla, bs 7ail khara3ny!!

Atwaqa3 enny lazim at3awad 3alaaih wela ra7 at3aaab!!

I went to the bathroom and washed my face. I threw myself on my bed and just stayed there in silence.

I wish I could stop thinking for one minute. I wish I could mute the voices in my head and stay in complete silence.

Just when I closed my eyes, the telephone rang. This is weird the telephone never rings.

“Alo,” I said.

“Hala Noura ..” Mit3eb said.

Haw laish daag?!

“Hala feek,” I replied.

Silence….

“Baghaitt shay?” I asked.

“Uhh ee madry wedich nro7 enafora mara thanya enshofha 3adel?” he asked.

I grinned, “eeee khanroo7!!” I said.

“Yalla badlay,” he ordered.

“Ok.”

I quickly slipped into a white dress and let my hair fall naturally on my shoulders.

I usually tie it into a ponytail, but I figured what just happens calls for a celebration and letting my hair down is my way of celebrating.

I’m a loser like that…

.

6oool e6ireej ga3da amshy yammaa o marrat amshy warra 3ashan maysaweely salfa.

It was almost 6 pm so it was dark outside. We reached the fountain and it was lit up and looked breathtaking.

“Waay mashalaaah tyaanin!!!! A7is there’s too much history behind it!” I said enthusiastically.

“Mhmm,” Mit3eb said.

I know he was bored, but at least he was smiling.

He inserted his hands in his pocket and took out a euro and handed it to me.

“Yallaa wansay 3umrich,” he said pointing at the fountain.

“Haha mara7 tgi6 enta?” I asked.

“Laa a7is shakly ghaby wana agi6,” he said.

“Haw laishhh? Bil3aks yalla ana ma3ak ma3a ba3ath!!” I insisted.

“La laa,” he said crossing his hands on his chest.

“Pleasse 3ashaany!” I begged. I grabbed his hand and pulled him closer to the fountain.

“Yozay ya bint,” he said as a smile slowly tugged on his lips.

“Yallaa, ready?” I asked.

“Ebtalasht wallaa,” he said.

“1, 2 3,” I said and we threw our coins in together.

“What did you wish for,” I asked while giggling.

“Masawait wish min9ijich!! Ma9khireeny zyadaa,” he chuckled.

“Hahahaa!! Yalla aham shay enik ga6ait el euro hathy khu6wa tushkar 3alaiha,” I said.

“Yalla emshay khanro7 enta3asha 7ady yo3aan!” he said looking at me.

I looked back at him and smiled.

We stayed for a second just staring at each other and smiling. I felt like I was in a movie but of course Mit3eb has to ruin it and he quickly turned around.

“Yalla mishaina,” he declared.
