We had fun during dinner. 9ij enna Mit3eb may7achy bas yalla ana garaagt 6ool elwagt.

At least I got to know him a little better.

We were on our way back to the hotel when Mit3eb asked, “Noura shrayech enmadid hny?”

“Laish?” I asked.

“Bas mashifna edeera o kilish mo mishta6 3ala Venisia,” he said.

“Ee okk 3ala ra7tik,” I said.

“Khosh 3ashan akalimhum al7een wincancel hotel venisia,” he said.

I tried walking next to him; maybe hold his hand but I was too shy.

Well, why not I’m the one always breaking the ice anyway!!

I slowly slipped my hand in his. He tensed up at first, but then he relaxed.

I felt a chill run down my spine. I loved how my hand felt in his.

After talking to the reception, Mit3eb and I finally reached our rooms.

“Ti9baa7 3ala khair,” I said as I reached for my keys in my bag.

“Wintay min ahala,” he said.

Just before I entered my room I heard,

“La7tha Noura,” mit3eb called.

“Amer,” I said with a smile.

He looked at me as a smile tugged on his lips.

“Shrayech uhh tnameen 3endy el yoom?” he asked.

I froze. Kilish matewaqa3t ys2alny hal su2al!!!!! faj2aa galby gaam yergaa3 7aaail chinny raktha sa3a!!!

I just stared at him with my mouth wide open.

Abaaih noura golaay shaay!!!!!

“Bas etha matabeen 3ala ra7tich…” he said.

“Umm.. ee ok abadel o ayeelik,” I said.

“Na6rich,” he said before he entered his room.

“Yallaaa please min yeena mari7t el soog ela marra wa7da!!!!” I said.

We just finished breakfast and we were roaming the city discovering new things.

“Laa wallaaaa?? Shlooon? Shloon chthyyy?!” Mit3eb acted shocked.

I leaned in next to him and held his arm, “Yalla please aby ashtry shay 7ag umy 3al aqaal.”

“Walaaaih yallaa ok!! Bs ma6awleen ha?” he warned.

“Ok!!!!” I said enthusiastically.

We walked to the nearest shopping mall and I started doing what I love the most!!

Maskeen Mit3eb kaser kha6ry 7ada mitmalil bs mit7amil o mo ga3ed yet7al6aam o hatha shay ghareeb!! Allaah ytamim 3alaaih!!!

We continued shopping in the clothes section. I found a fabulous white party dress. 7aaail 3jebatnyy lazim ajaribhaa!!

I asked the saleswoman to bring me my size while I waited in the fitting room.

“Mit3eb please eg3ad hny 3ashan etha libast’ha anadeek,” I said pointing at the sofas in the fitting room area.

“Enshalla,” he grunted.

It was a Roland Mouret printed stretch cotton-blend dress. The woman gave me heels to try on along with the dress.

It looked really good on me!! I let my hair down, straightened the dress and then called Mit3eb.

“Ha shrayek,” I asked him.

He just stared at me with his jaw almost touching the floor.

“Haw shfeek mata7achaa??” I asked.

“Shnu hatha? Laykoon ebt6l3een chthyy??” he asked with wide eyes.

“Laaa!! 7ag 3irs aw 7afla chthyy,” I said.

“Madryy ya3ny zain..” he said.

Mit3eb’s POV:

Madryy shloon a3aber!! Nesait shloon a3aber a9lan!

Agoolaha ena 7ilo 3alaiha? Agolaha ena galby shway 3awarny lama shift’ha? Agolaha enna “eyanin” 3ala golat’haaa? Lana jamalhaa yimkin eyaninyy..

“Madryy ya3ny zain,” was all that came out.

“Shaklaa mo 3ajbiik!!!” she said.

Mo 3ajibny??? 7araaaam 3alaaaaich!!!!

“Aham shay ya3jibich,” I said.

“Bas ham abyy ya3jibik!!” she said.

“Eee 7iluu,” I said.

“9ijj???” she asked.

“Eee!” I said and turned around quickly.

I changed and left the fitting room.  The saleslady already took the dress to the counter so that I would pay for it.

Mit3eb came up to me with his eyebrows furrowed, “Gitlich enna 7ilu bas magitlch ekhthee!!”

I looked at him in confusion.

“Ya3ny ana kalamy mala qeema 3indich???” he asked through clenched teeth.

“Mit3eb ya3ny ana laish mgaysita etha mara7 akhtha??” I stuttered as I asked.

“Shdaraany 3abaly entay t7been tgaysen hdom!!” he said.

HAW!!

“La Mit3eb agayis lihdoom 3ashan ashtreeehum etha 3jboony!!” I said.

Suddenly he chuckled and then looked at me with a straight face, “atghashmar ma3ach shfeech.”

“Entay kila mikhtar3a?” he asked.

“Kila min 7arakatik!” I said.

He smiled as he got out his credit card, “Ullaaa!!!!! Wallaa ashtiry bait a7saaly shda3wa ghaly chthy!!”

“Bil3aks si3ra zaain!” I said.

“Eeee mo entay elly btdf3eeen,” he said.

“Haha enta matkhaleeny adfa3 shasawy,” I said.

“Hatha elly nagi9 rayal sh6oly sh3irthy yamich o entay tdf3een, yalla elshakwa la allah,” he said.

“Hahahaa, mashkooor matga9ir rabyy e3awthiik enshallaah!” I said.

“Shda3wa du3a2ich mustajaab!” he said.

“Haaw?”

“Atghamshaar atghashmaar,” he said while chuckling.

“Ok thakirny ma2atsawag ma3ak mara thanyaa,” I said.

“La tukfaaaaainnn Noura lat3athbeenyy zyada, tukfaaain tisawigay ma3ay,” he said.

“Yakirhik,” I said while giggling.

Things are finally looking up. Allah ytamim!!
