She gave me a tight smile.

She does realize that she’s talking about her own brother right?

I finished my food quickly and told her we had to leave..

I dropped her off and went home..

I laid on my bed.. its been a long and exhausting day..

Does aziz really think that we rushed into this?

Does he want to break off the engagement?

Does he not love me anymore??

My heart was slamming in my chest.. all the ugly thoughts paid a visit to my mind at that instant..

Why did sara have to tell me all this?

Now everything she said will be engraved in my brain!! I couldn’t get it out even if I tried.. just the 

thought of aziz considering backing away from this hurts me!

But no! its all in my head! Aziz never mentioned anything about us rushing into marriage and I think that 

sara didn’t really know what she was talking about!

I was so tired so I decided to take a nap before going to Raneem’s

Its like she completely blocked me out of her life!

I quickly showered and changed

I carried the macaroon box I bought from Laduree and left..

I arrived at raneem’s and went inside..

I went downstairs to see raneem, lulu, dana and Farah.. the whole gang was here

I ran to them and hugged them! Waay walhana 3alaihum!

Raneem and I were in the same school so our friendship goes way back..

and we befriended dana, lulu and farah in uni!

We talked and started catching up on things..

And then I broke the news..

Me: I got engaged!!!

I blushed

The girls started congratulating me and hugging me asking me all kinds of questions .. mnu? Meta

And then dana started talking..

For some odd reason I got angry..

I was afraid to here the answer..

Hmm she was hiding something but I let it go..

We changed the subject and started talking till the night came to an end..

I had a great time! Despite Dana’s news, my night was perfect!

On my way home the party planner, manal, called..

Her voice was shaky..

Manal: ghala.. I have news for you

Me: good or bad??

Manal: bad….

My heart sank..

Me: shnuuu sh9ar ba3ad?

Manal: the flowers and some of the sweets you ordered couldn’t be delivered on time..

My eyes popped out..

Me: WHAT????

Manal: and the tailor is not able to finish your dress before the party..

Manal: I’m so sorry ghala!! These mishaps rarely happen! and I prepared alternative desserts and flowers 

that you can order..

Ghala told me about the flowers and her dress..

everything to be perfect!

Sara came into my room and sat on my bed..

Sara: laish shisalfa.. laish ghala taby et2ajil? 3ashan el ward?

I ran my hands through my hair.. and just stared at her waiting for her to leave

Sara: y3ny shda3wa she didn’t have to make up a lie 3ashan et2ajil!! Elyom el party planner mkalmat’ha 

o gayla enna everything is ready!

I sat up straight..

Me: shdarach entay?

Sara: 6ala3t ma3aha elyoom r7na 360.. o kalimat’ha..

Me: mit2akdaa???

She got up and walked to the door then turned around..

Sara: ee mt2akdaa.. sorry to burst your bubble, but I think she’s starting to  have cold feet..

She smiled and left..
